Mr. Morales is responsible for originating, structuring and managing investments at Newstone. Prior to joining Newstone, Mr. Morales was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in the Specialty Lending Group, where he was responsible for screening, structuring and managing the firm’s senior debt, mezzanine and equity investments in leveraged transactions. Prior thereto, Mr. Morales worked as an Associate with TCW/Crescent Mezzanine, LLC. Previously, Mr. Morales worked in the investment banking division of Deutsche Bank, where he focused on sponsor related leveraged finance transactions. Mr. Morales received his M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his B.B.A. from the University of Texas.
